Partnership Projects

In a widely underrepresented part of the world, where beauty and generosity mask poverty, the needs of Tongan youth often go overlooked. Over the past few years we have made an effort to combat our sense of helplessness and apathy by working on one ‘project’ a year. Ranging from helping local schools to health services we are making ourselves available to doing one small thing at a time.

Our projects have been made possible through the generosity of our friends, business associates and local church. Where possible we have tried to create sustainable partnerships between Tongan schools and organizations in Europe and the United States.

Recently we have begun to formalize this work by establishing a non-profit organization registered in both the Unites States and Tonga. From time to time we will update this section with 'projects' that are in the works and report back on projects that have been completed .

How to get involved!

  • Adopt a project
  • Work alongside an Existing Project
  • Raise Awareness and Resources

Our goal is to involve as many schools, churches and community groups interested in helping local Tongan youth as possible. In the past we have taken groups who have raised funds (through car washes, charity auctions, bake sales etc) for specific projects to Tonga for 4-6 week trips to work on their designated project alongside local community members.

We have found that this type of partnership project is invaluable for both groups of people. It creates in some cases life long relationships, and inspires young people to live a life of service. Please contact us if you, your school, your church or just a group of friends would like to get involved!
